The M4A1 AR15 style firearm features the RIS II picatinny quad rail, which has been in use by US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for the SOPMOD Block II program since 2005. The M4A1 is built around a 14.5 inch Cold Hammer Forged M4 Profile barrel with a permanently attached Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor. The independently ambi GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle accommodates left- and right-handed shooters. The M4A1 is available with an FDE rail as well as our Mil Spec + Cerakote. This M4 carbine also comes with the ergonomic Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip.

- The Best of DDMy first DD! And for me the Best, even though in my country (france) it cost 900$ more than in the USA! My only complaint is the non removable flash suppressor...It's a shame if you want to install a sound reducer

- First Time AR 15 BuyerExperienced handgun/shotgun/hunter, 1st time AR 15 purchase. I'm an 87-year-old senior and loving this gun. My grandson and I have put 100's of rounds, both 5.56 and 223, in the Arizona desert and indoor gun range. Even with a California compliant model, it's easy and fun to shoot. I have to admit I'm spoiled.

- Better than I expected.This is my 3rd DD firearm, and it is much better than I expected. Based on my stellar experiences with the other two, I shouldn't have been so surprised. I was in the market for a general-purpose AR and, after conversations with a friend who has one and reading online reviews, I jumped in. Just like my other DD firearms, I am so glad I did! This is a well-built, lightweight, 100% reliable and accurate AR. I cannot think of one thing negative to say about it. It has become my "go-to" GP AR that I would bet my life on. It's a fantastic addition to my collection (well, accumulation to be honest) and I recommend it very highly to anyone looking for a great AR.

- Range day flawlessM4A1 mil-spec, radiant Raptor SD charging handle, radiant 45 selector, ACOG TA11HG and a Dead Air Lazarus 6 can.
DD mags. Bought some new walker ear pro so now I can hear other’s conversations at the range. As I’m there putting 256 rounds (8 mags) I can hear others at the range talking about their issues. Feeding problems. One after another. I think I was the only guy at the range without a problem. My M4A1 operated flawlessly through every round and was on target every time. Zero gas in my face. - Excellent rifleJust purchased this rifle 2 weeks ago from the Armories in Oviedo Florida. Very tight and well made rifle. Took it to the range right out of the case and sent 500 rounds down field with no issues and tight grouping. I would definitely recommend this rifle.
