The DDM4ISR is our Integrally Suppressed AR15 style firearm optimized for the 300 Blackout cartridge. Built around a 9 inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel that is fluted along with a target crown and a standard pistol length gas system, this versatile, high-performance rifle is the complete package, accurately delivering both subsonic and supersonic projectiles downrange with unrelenting reliability. Because the suppressor is an integral part of the barrel, this firearm is ready for service right out of the box. There's no attaching a suppressor and wondering if it's mounted correctly and/or properly aligned. There's no re-zeroing for suppressed vs. unsuppressed fire.
The DDM4ISR's integral suppressor extends the barrel to an NFA-required 16 inches in length, so this platform is not classified as a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) and therefore only requires a single tax stamp (for the suppressor). The suppressor's lightweight outer tube is constructed of durable, heat-resistant metal alloys and coated with a protective high-temperature Cerakote-C finish, which is able of withstanding extreme temperatures and harsh environments. The suppressor is also user-serviceable, so its baffle core can be easily removed for periodic cleaning in order to maintain peak performance.
The DDM4ISR comes standard with the MFR XL 15.0 handguard, which features a continuous 1913 Picatinny rail on its top, for the mounting of iron sights or optics, and Keymod attachment points on the sides and bottom. The independently ambi GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle accommodates left- and right-handed shooters. This rifle also comes with the ergonomic Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip.

- Great rifle, but in need of an updateThe rifle is beautiful and clearly a very well made product. The quality of the build and attention to detail is truly amazing. The only real complaint I have is that Daniel Defense needs to update the design. It was clearly originally designed before we knew if Keymod or M-Lok would win out. However M-Lok has been proven to be superior and everyone has pretty much transitioned to this attachment point, limiting the options for attaching accessories without the need to buy adapters.

- DDM4ISRI purchased my DDM4ISR for SINSE (Shooting in Sensitive Environments) work in Wildlife Damage Control for several contracts I have on military installations. Paired with Trijicon VCOG and Snipe IR optics, firing 190gr Hornady Sub X its rapidly paying for itself in Predator control on installations. Fit and finish is exceptional. The only complaint would be the cheap cases. I opted for the Pelican cases to hold this exceptionally crafted tool and protect it. Work has never been THIS FUN. The maintenance and cleaning is effortless including the baffle removal. I hope to get many thousands of rounds down range with this firearm.

- very pleasedVery pleased with the rifle it took 15 months to get it approved for the NFA but now that I have it it is exceptionally quiet in his run a hundred percent reliable with S&B subsonic ammo and Hornady 190 grain sub-x ammo and had no problems I use the Lancer 300 black specific mags. I did switch out the pistol grip buttstock foregrip trigger and charging handle for anlwrc stock Magpul K2+ grip Geissele sde trigger and Geissele charging handle which just completely changes it so that it's a much nicer feeling rifle.100% happy I only wish I would have gotten it sooner. If you're on the fence about it I'd say it's definitely worth it don't let the reviews of the Gen 1 rifles hold you back from the Gen 2 it's nice and quiet and reliable.

- Blown away by the quality of this rifleMy range time with my M4ISR has been limited to conjugal visits at the dealer while my tax stamp processes. As soon as you pick the rifle up, you notice a ton of details that just don't come across in the pictures online. It is meticulously built and finished, nothing is tier 2. The first time I tried the trigger, I second-guessed myself on whether I took the safety off - it is a creep-free solid wall followed by a crisp break, just awesome. The first thing I noticed in the live-fire was the absence of gas blowback. I've fired a number of other suppressed MSR platforms and the all had eye-burning gas blowback - not this one. I've only been able to shoot it indoors, but with 200gr subsonic rounds, it sounds similar to a paintball gun. It is the quietest I've shot so far. This is a top tier rifle!
