The lightweight, streamlined design of the Daniel Defense A1.5 Fixed Rear Sight makes it the optimum back up iron sight for shooters using today’s most popular reflex optics. Its well thought out design does not impede the use of the charging handle on M4 type rifles. The one piece design makes it easy to install to any Military Specification flattop upper receiver and the sight is secured to the upper using a slotted fastener which is threaded into a self-locking steel thread insert.
Machined from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and Military Specification Hard Coat Anodized, our Fixed Back Up Iron Sight is both lightweight and durable.

- Great optic, no other fixed sights come close.Steady as the day i installed it 2 years ago. Dont worry about using it with an optic you can install any optic lower one third very easily with this rear sight. Flip up sights are cool and useful, but nothing beats a hard use fixed sight. Rock on Daniel Defense hope you have a long and secure future in the market..

- Only for A1 front sights not for A2 front sightsThis sight is only for an F marked front sight base. It sits too high for an M16-A1 front sight. - Highly RecommendedI’ve had this sight on my beater gun for over a year. It got banged around, but still as accurate as the day I zeroed it in! Great sight, I have recommended it to friends and family. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive, simple, and easy to use sight that is not chinsy.

- Buy It!Awesome sight! I've used carry handles and flip sights that come loose. This sight doesn't move. It is rock solid from the first time I put it on and I've shot well over 1000 rounds. I have a little of that black rifle disease where you want to always add and change things to your rifle but every time I want to add a scope or optic where I would have to take this sight off - I just can't bring myself to do it. This thing has been absolutely dependable.
