We Cold Hammer Forge our barrels from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, a process that sets us apart from other barrel manufacturers. It’s Mil-spec heavy phosphate coated and chrome lined with carbine length gas system.

- 5,000 round 12.5Have to say when I got my 12.5 DD I was excited. 2 months later my pistol was finished. Worked flawless breaking in. Has worked flawless for 5000+ rounds and 3 rifle classes. Wish I could find another. Great job.

- Great!Great barrel, shoots like a dream. I bought this barrel to build up a 12.5 Upper, using only Daniel Defense parts for my sbr. Using a Daniel Defense 12.5 barrel, DD upper receiver, DD mfr rail, and DD BCG, DD gas tube. The barrel is great and very accurate!! All my rifles are Daniel Defense or only built with Daniel Defense parts. Keep rocking it out guys!! I will be buying another one of these barrels for another 12.5 build.

- Best there is!I was excited to get home once I got the notification that it was delivered. DD was generous enough to pre-lube it up on the thread and the star chamber. Shot beautifully with no problems, absolutely in love. Definitely would recommend.

- 12.5 barrel with pinned gas blockI just received this barrel today and I have to say I love it. The fit to a Colt upper receiver is awesome. From now on all my barrels are going to be pinned gas blocks from DD.

- Excellent barrelI have tested 2 hand loads with this barrel: 77 TMK and 69 SMK, this barrel is SUB MOA all day long!! I get very little copper out of this barrel unlike other brands chrome lined barrels. Without a doubt one of the best barrels I own.

- Barrel lifeI have a 12.5" CHF DD Barrel with over 12,000 rds going thru it and is still as great as day one. Wished DD would swap and give me a new one and put this in their museum.
