awesome platformawesome platform, just like any AR completely customizable but the quality of DD. only problem was, when I picked it up from my local dealer the lower wasn't milled correctly and it wouldn't drop mags unless you forced it. just a lemon im sure because I sent it back they fixed it and now it cycles like a dream. running vltor stock, magpul pistol grip and vertical grip trijicon MRO red dot, magpul flip ups, and stream light on top. completely in love. another heads up if you plan to suppress this platform the muzzle break is pinned and welded, find a good shop to hook you up so youre able to put a can on it. rock on!

Best rifle I ownHands down the best rifle I have ever owned. The only improvement I made was a Geissele SD-C trigger. Well and some accessories too: FDE EXPS3-0/G33 magnifier, Troy battle sights, surefire m600df with Haley strategic thorntail mount, and and a surefire sr07 tape switch. You will not find a better platform to accessorize!

WowExcellent rifle! In the realm of tier one AR's DD holds their own...easily! Price for the M4 was on par with the quality that you would expect. However, it could have used a better trigger and charging handle. Those two points (for me) is what held back a five star value rating. Overall, fit and finish was excellent! Real estate for my Eotech, G33, and iron sights is more than enough. Handguard, grips and stock are all top notch. Not to mention, accuracy is astonishing!

Great weapon can be used for hunting and protection.Excellent weapon I battle tested in Afghanistan with a long range scope and a red dot. Great for firing and easy to clean from a Master Armor. Was qualified on the 9mm and M4, I thought the M4 was a better weapon before I deployed to Afghanistan and I stand by this weapon. As a retired 82nd ABN. And as A DoD Drawdown Contracting Officer Warranted for the last 13 years also Retired. Thanks for letting me do this report of such weapon.

Fantastic RifleI have a hard time believing there is a better AR out there than this one. Absolutely love this rifle and never thought twice about the price. Worth every penny. As far as I'm concerned Daniel Defense is as good as it gets and I would never hesitate to buy their products.
