We took one of the lightest-weight, fastest-handling rifles in our DDM4 lineup and gave it a makeover as our fifth Limited Series rifle build. The DD4 V7 SLW Dune features a Trijicon Credo 1-8x28 riflescope; a Reptilia AUS scope mount; an upgraded ALG ACT Trigger with a crisper break; and B5 Systems Bravo Stock, P23 Grip, and lightweight aluminum trigger guard. A SureFire 3-Prong flash hider is pinned and welded to the muzzle, making the barrel 16 inches long and NFA-compliant, and the rifle is coated in a cool, custom Cerakote Rattlecan Arid finish. It also comes with a whole lot of extras, including a Blue Force Gear padded Vickers sling, a Fix It Sticks “The Works” toolkit, an Otis cleaning kit, a Daniel Defense cleaning mat, an upgraded Royal case, a challenge coin, and even a certificate of authenticity.
The rest of this rifle is everything you expect in a DD4 V7 SLW, like being super lightweight (TBD pounds) and having a Cold Hammer Forged Lightweight Profile barrel, a 13.5” MFR XL rail with M-LOK attachment, and a reliable Mid-length gas system.
