Compact and easy to transport, the DDM4 PDW is the kind of AR15 style pistol you can rely on for home and personal defense...plus it's a ton of fun to shoot. The 7 inch 300 Blackout Cold Hammer Forged barrel keeps subsonic loads subsonic and provides great ballistics for a shorter barrel. The PDW, with an overall length of 20.75 inches, comes equipped with the Maxim Defense CQB Pistol Brace, which gives you the adjustments needed to more comfortably shoot your AR pistol. This highly maneuverable pistol comes with a 6 inch MFR XL flat front rail for fast handling, accuracy, and reliability while also providing compatibility with a wide variety of accessories. This firearm features M-LOK attachment points and an SLR M-LOK MOD2 Plain Front Handstop to help ensure a safe shooting experience. Also available as SBR with Maxim Defense CQB Gen 7 stock.

- Great gun; terrible triggerThe rifle is amazing and everything functions beyond what I expected. The trigger is absolutely the weakest point but a simple swap will make this a perfect gun.

- Great customer serviceI bought this a couple of years ago and it it my go to PDW for house and truck with the addition of a suppressor. Unfortunately it got severely damaged in a fire. I cleaned it up pretty good but needed parts to get in fighting shape. Contacted DD support to buy parts but they said to just send it to them for warranty support. I again explained that it was fire damaged but they send it. I got it back today and it is like new, no, is new. Excellent customer service, I will never buy anything but DD again.

- Fantastic System, but Disappointing TriggerEverything in the design and function of the PDW is excellent--except for the very disappointing gritty 9-10 lb trigger. It will be replaced to make this the perfect truck/home defense weapon system. It would be a simple matter for DD to include a quality trigger to make this a true top tier firearm.

- First SBR, bar has been setLove this weapon! It shoots as promised-it’s compact, maneuverable, and accurate at a variety of distances. I’m running with a Holosun 510-C Green dot and an omega 300 can shooting subs and all you can hear is the action cycling and the projectile hitting the plate. I will add that I decided to upgrade the trigger to a Geissele SD-E 2 stage 3.5 lb, and man did it make a world of difference, literally the only thing I would change on it. Absolutely worth every penny!

- Awesome PDW out the caseI’ve put about 1000 rounds through it and like my other DD has proven reliable and super compact. It’s quickly becoming my favorite CQB platform. Don’t build just but this and you won’t be disappointed!!

- Solid Personal Defense WeaponSeveral thousand rounds and no issues whatsoever. Most of those suppressed with Dead Air Sandman S. I use this as my home defense and truck gun. I have 3 Daniel Defense rifles and have never had an issue with any of them.
