The DD5 V3 builds upon the foundation Daniel Defense established in 7.62 AR-style rifles. This highly accurate and durable rifle includes an adjustable gas block that allows for a consistent feel whether shooting suppressed or unsuppressed. The perfected bolt carrier group reduces overall recoil impulse and is easy to maintain and operate in all conditions. Designed around a Cold Hammer Forged barrel with an innovative 4-Bolt Connection System, this design dramatically increases the connection surface area between the barrel and upper receiver for increased rigidity/stability to wring out accuracy traditionally only found in high-end bolt action rifles. The DD5 platforms have upgraded controls like ambi bolt catch, magazine release, safety selector and Daniel Defense enhanced furniture. The DD5 V3 sets a new benchmark in performance for 7.62 AR-style rifles.

- Big Boy AR10This is my first DD rifle and .308 this gun is a beast and got a lil kick to it but fun to shoot, shot 4 different brands of ammo and grain all ammo cycled good no problem...

- Truly awesome rifleThe only thing I changed was the trigger cause I’m a snob and the factory pull was over 7lbs. Which I’m sure is due to military contracts. Over 500 rounds so far with ZERO failures. This IS the battle rifle YOU WANT. I threw a Geissele SSA-E and a Trijicon Accupoint on it and the accuracy is amazing. Doesn’t kick hard at all, somewhat like a AK just slightly harder than a AR. Quit looking, start saving or whatever it is you need to do to get this rifle.

- Quality RifleThis was my first Daniel Defense rifle, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This rifle is impressive. The quality of the the rifle is unmatched. - DD5 V3 Is RemarkableI had a DD5 V1 rifle that was a factory lemon, would not cycle, and DD was unable to repair it to function properly. DD customer service went above and beyond when they replaced the DD5 V1 with a NEW Custom built DD5 V3. Daniel Defense wasted no time and I had the new rifle shipped to me within short order. Daniel Defense really cared about taking care of me and kept in constant contact with me as I waited for the new rifle. Well when the new rifle arrived it was amazing. Flawless function. They even sent me two extra 20 round magazines and some accessories. Daniel Defense is a great company and I am sold on their firearms. I have never heard of anyone having a problem with one of their rifles. My situation was rare. Thank you DD for providing me with a NEWLY Upgraded DD5 V3 as I am very happy with it!

- Nearly perfect AR10Saw the V3 hanging on the wall July 2020. Couldn't believe it was available. Got night sweats, couldn't sleep. Next day, traded 3 guns and cash for it

- Superb AR-10The DD5 V3 is the superb AR-10. 500 rounds without a single jam. Repeated sub-MOA strikes at 200 yards. Field stripping is a breeze. I am sold on Daniel Defense.
