This latest evolution of the DD4 introduces a new 15" flat-front rail designed for maximum suppressor compatibility and expanded accessory space. A new fully ambidextrous lower gives complete control to both left- and right-handed shooters, while the new enhanced three-piece trigger delivers a crisp, consistent break. The 16" cold hammer forged government-profile barrel pairs with a mid-length gas system for smooth cycling and reduced wear, while the M-LOK handguard with integrated sling points provides versatile mounting options.

- Barrel: Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel, Cold Hammer Forged, 1:7 Twist, Chrome Lined, Mil-Spec Heavy Phosphate Coated).
- Gas System: Low Profile Gas Block (CNC Machined of 4140 hardened steel and Mil-Spec Heavy Phosphate Coating, Mid-Length, Direct Impingement).
- Handguard: DD4 Flat-Front Handguard. Daniel Defense DD4 Rail 15.0 (CNC Machined of 6061-T6 Aluminum, Type III Hard Coat Anodized). This M-LOK compatible handguard provides a comfortable and ergonomic grip, with ample space for mounting accessories.
- Bolt Carrier Group: M16 Profile, Mil-Spec MP Tested, Chrome Lined, Properly Staked Gas Key.
- Trigger: DD Enhanced Trigger. Provides a smooth, consistent trigger pull for improved accuracy and control.
- Controls: Fully Ambi Controls, including the ambidextrous safety selector, magazine release, and bolt release, ensure seamless operation for both left and right-handed shooters, enhancing versatility in any situation.
