The ambidextrous DD4 RIII AR15 style rifle is designed to satisfy the needs of both right- and left-handed shooters in popular shooting sports and for tactical and defensive applications. Its fully ambidextrous lower allows a shooter to operate the bolt catch, safety selector, and magazine release without having to move or remove their dominant hand from the rifle’s grip, while its GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle is fully ambidextrous as well. A 12.5 inch lightweight RIS III rail—modeled after the revolutionary RIS II two-piece handguard developed for SOCOM—features M-LOK attachment for lighter weight while still offering M203 grenade-launcher attachment. It surrounds a 16 inch Cold Hammer Forged Government Profile barrel, and our mid-length gas system, known to have a smoother recoil impulse, adds to this rifle’s accuracy by allowing for quick but precise rapid fire. This rifle also comes with the ergonomic Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip.

- Great weapon and superb customer serviceI bought my DD4 R III through my military exchange. Once I received it, there were a couple of minor issues and I contacted customer service immediately. Within five minutes I had a return label and sent it UPS to Daniel Defense. They kept me updated on the steps they were doing to make it right. I received it back in less than a week in perfect condition. That shows pride of ownership from this company. There may be other companies just as good as Daniel Defense, but I will never know. I am now a loyal customer and see no reason to shop elsewhere.

- A+ Value & QualityMy Typical first response when buying a new AR is to go through it and decide was has to be immediately replaced, but not with the Daniel Defense DD4 Rlll. This rifle Is among the best values in ARs on the market. I know that's not a common statement for a rifle in the $2300.00 + or - range, but the DD4 Rlll is loaded with features that are common upgrades with other rifles. The Free float M Lok rail is excellent, the larger diameter helps mitigate heat and keeps the rail cooler compared to slim profile rails so common with other manufacturers'rails. As a bonus the integrated QD points are a nice touch. The ambi controls are intuitive and function perfectly. The stock and grip are also very good and suitable for now. The rifle functions perfectly with over five hundred rounds and no failures. This DD4 Rlll has made me a DD believer and this wont be my last purchase from DD.
