Details
The Daniel Defense adjustable buttstock is constructed of a proprietary blend of glass infused polymers and finished off with soft touch rubber overmolding in strategic points. The new buttstock is precision formed for mil-spec receiver extensions to have very little forward or lateral play that is so common in many other buttstocks. This eliminates the need for a tensioning device or friction lock. All of this results in a durable buttstock that will give the shooter a comfortable and repeatable cheek weld and unprecedented control of the firearm. The buttstock can be run with one of two included buttpads or without any buttpad at all to custom fit the rifle to whatever gear the operator must wear. The buttpads come in two sizes: a thicker convex shape (0.8”), and a thinner concave shape (0.5”); designed to keep from snagging when shouldering the rifle. Limited rotation QD swivel attachment points are integrated on both sides of the buttstock for ambidextrous sling connection.

- Five stars for looks and no wiggle, but the pads..I am so very happy with this stock. Coolest looking stock I’ve ever seen, and it fits perfectly snug with no wiggle at all. I do have to agree with Mark- not the most comfortable pads… I’m only posting this in hopes that in the near future an option for a softer pad may come out, but until then I am still 100% stoked on this

- Super Comfy, Pain in the butt to installI got this along with a grip and while I found them to be SUUUPER comfy to shoot with, I found the installation to be an absolute nightmare. I don't know if I got one with just a particularly tight adjustment spring but this thing did NOT want to go onto my buffer tube. When I did get it on, it is still extremely tight. I had to HEAVILY grease up my buffer tube but now it runs like a dream. 9/10, would buy again.

- nice stock, painfull recoil padJust got my DDM4 V7 PRO ar. great pc. of machinery, but really do not like either of the recoil pads. I have magpul stocks and pads on most of my AR's but they don't make a pad for this gun and I like the stock too much to replace the whole deal. DD how about getting with magpul and getting an enhanced recoil pad made to fit your stock. you two powerhouses ought to be able to come up with something. See what you can do I'll buy the first one

- My Favorite Buttstock by a Mile!Put one of these on my older DDM4LE after buying one for my Daughter’s AR build.
-Easy to extend and collapse
-Intuitive to shoulder from a low ready
-Feels solid and comfortable when firing
-Nice having the choice of two different buttpads
Just an all around intelligently designed product.

- Great butt stock!I really like this butt stock. Mounted easily (within seconds) on my Ruger AR556, and is a notable move up in quality from the stock version. Rock solid with no wobble or rattle. The soft touch overmolding makes this stock much more comfortable. I also appreciate getting two interchangeable buttpads. Overall a fantastic value. Highly recommended!
