The 14.5” Government profile barrel is forged from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, Mil-spec heavy phosphate coated and chrome lined with mid-length gas system.

- QualityA little more than I hoped for but damn worth it! My ddm4v5 has ran perfectly through 2500 rounds since I purchased it new . I compare all other AR rifles to DD and none can stack up to the quality! I am in the process of waiting on my nfa paperwork to clear for a new mk18. In the mean time I have decided to do my first build . I just finished the lower for my wife but it has to have a DD barrel. After looking at the website I think I am just going to do a complete upper! So much for doing a build! Thank you for all you guys and gals do to keep our country free and safe!

- Its Daniel Defense... need I say more?I used this barrel for a build 3 years ago. Since then I've put several thousand rounds down the pipe. It has remained extremely accurate and dependable. I espect it to do so for many years to come.
